<p>Let’s get one thing straight: beige is not a personality. And while there’s absolutely a time and place for neutrals (hello, chic Scandi corners), we’re here to make a case for colour &#8211; in all its glorious, gutsy, mood-boosting colour. Maybe it’s the eccentric art, the clashing prints that somehow&nbsp;<em>work</em>, or the holiday souvenirs that bring the stories out before the wine does – life’s too short for magnolia walls.</p>

Even the loos are a vibe &#8211; we’re talking luxe tiles, gleaming gold, and drama in all the best ways.</p>



<p>Then there’s&nbsp;<strong><a href="https://www.thecutandcraft.co.uk/">Cut &amp; Craft</a></strong>, where dark, moody hues meet pink sinks and golden glamour. It’s sexy, it’s stylish, and it proves that even the bathrooms can (and should) be fabulous.</p>



<p>Craving full-blown luxury? Head to&nbsp;<strong><a href="https://www.grantleyhall.co.uk/">Grantley Hall</a></strong>, where every surface screams indulgence. From theatrical lighting to sumptuous textiles and art-drenched walls, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to go home and reupholster&nbsp;<em>everything</em>&nbsp;in velvet.</p>



<p>Fancy a bit of fantasy? Say hello to&nbsp;<strong><a href="https://impossibleyork.com/pink/">Pink by Impossible</a></strong>&nbsp;in York &#8211; a cocktail bar that’s basically Barbie’s dream house, if Barbie had a penchant for disco balls and dramatic chandeliers. It’s immersive, it’s unapologetic, and it’s absolute proof that&nbsp;<em>more is more</em>.</p>

Plus, there&#8217;s a champagne bar in the basement (yes, really), so you can sip while you style.</p>



<p><strong><a href="https://www.redbrickmill.co.uk/">Redbrick Mill</a></strong>&nbsp;in Batley is a whole interiors universe under one very chic roof. <p>Not sure where to start? Don’t panic &#8211; you don’t need to redecorate the whole house. Just pick&nbsp;<em>one</em>&nbsp;statement piece: a vibrant cushion, a quirky lamp, a punchy print. Let it shine, then build around it. Baby steps before rainbow dives.</p>



<p>Still stuck? Raid your wardrobe. If you wear cobalt blue, mustard yellow or hot pink, chances are you’ll love them on your walls too. Colour should feel&nbsp;<em>you</em>. I’ve seen so many people with bold wardrobes but beige homes &#8211; don’t be afraid to bring the joy indoors.</p>



<p>And don’t forget the meaningful bits. Vintage treasures, second-hand finds, travel trinkets &#8211; these are the things that tell your story. Some of my fave pieces cost pennies at a charity shop or were picked up while thrifting abroad. Personality doesn’t need a designer price tag.</p>
