To celebrate World Whisky Day on 16 May we’ve teamed up with Whittakers Distillery to offer one lucky Muddy reader (and an even luckier friend) a distillery tour voucher.
The Harrogate-based Whittakers Distillery is nestled in the wild, rugged, rolling pastures of Nidderdale and creates exceptional small-batch whisky using local barley and gin inspired by local botanicals and water from its own Harewell Spring.
You’ll have a tour of the distillery and whisky barrel warehouse and then head into the bar for a sit-down tasting and then another dram of your choice. Finish the day with a browse around the shop, which sells all things Whittaker’s and a small selection of locally produced goodies.
