<p>You’ve got to bough down to Jonathan Moseley, one of the UK’s leading floral designers, who has over 25 years’ experience at the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society flower shows such as Chelsea, Hampton Court, Tatton and Malvern. Now is your chance to learn his inside techniques and tips while creating your very own festive door wreath using some of the best-loved winter flora. Held on <strong>26 Nov</strong>, the day’s masterclass includes tea and coffee on arrival as well as a two-course lunch with a glass of wine or soft drink, plus you take your masterpiece home to make your neighbours green with envy. Perfect for novice or seasoned wreath makers alike, bring some pals and oil the wheels of creativity with a mulled wine and mince pie. <p>For something a little different, pucker up and create a Paper Mistletoe Wreath at this Christmassy cultural venue where you can express your inner artist for the yuletide season and perhaps garner some kisses as reward. Expertly guided by the paper artist, Beam Irwin, learn how to make this evergreen wreath made from speciality Italian crêpe paper and faux pearls that you can use to decorate your house year after year. No previous experience is necessary and tea, coffee and all materials are included. On <strong>30 Nov from 10am – 12.30pm</strong>, <strong>£50pp</strong>. <p>Join floral designer Zosia for a seasonal creative making session inspired by forest walks, winter’s fragrant scents and warm Christmas festivities. Create aromatic wreaths with bases of fresh juniper, conifer and pine to brighten your doorways and appreciate the festive season.</p>



<p>The workshops from <strong>10.30am to 1.30pm, 5 – 7 Dec</strong> are divided into two parts: weaving with natural materials like birch, ivy and willow before being given plenty of freedom to use your own creativity adding fresh and dried finishing touches. Suitable for beginners, the workshop may be held partially outdoors, so dress accordingly. Refreshments and a sweet treat are included along with the wreath, of course, and access to Harewood’s Grounds and Gardens. <strong>£83pp</strong> with no discount for members.</p>

<p>What better location than the twinkling Christmas Village in Strid Wood to enjoy a half-day workshop with Vanessa Wellock? The RHS Chelsea silver medallist and florist to The Devonshire Arms Hotel will be on hand to help you create your own Christmas eco-friendly wreath. No previous experience is necessary as Vanessa will guide you every step of the way.</p>



<p>The wreath making takes place under shelter on <strong>6 Dec from 9.30am – 12.30pm</strong>, although wrapping up warmly is advised. A hot flask, mince pies, music and festive cheer will also help keep everyone cosy! The Riverside Car Park is a 5 min walk from the Christmas Village, past the Cavendish Pavilion along the Green Trail. All foliage and pheasant feathers will be freshly gathered from the Bolton Abbey Estate, while dried oranges, pine cones and ribbon will also provide the perfect finishing touches to ensure your wreath will be widely admired. <strong>£65pp</strong> with free parking.</p>
