Did you know Yorkshire is the polo capital of the world? We’re just kidding, apparently it’s Argentina but we can but dream.&nbsp;



Anyway, we love any excuse to pop a hat on here so we can’t wait to head to Allerton Country Park, near Knaresborough on 25 June for a day at the The Yorkshire Polo. The annual event is raising funds for Leeds-based Yorkshire Children’s Charity and Muddy Stilettos is proud to be a media sponsor. 



The day will feature two thrilling polo matches from teams made up of seasoned players and rising stars from across the county. Guests will enjoy a Yorkshire-inspired dining experience, followed by a silent auction and live music all within the glorious surroundings of Allerton Park.

Funds raised will go towards supporting Yorkshire Children’s Charity’s work across the region, including initiatives such as the Winter Support Campaign, which provides essential items including warm coats, bedding and school shoes to children and families in poverty. The charity launched in 2022 and since then has done sterling work (to the tune of £8m, no less) helping disadvantaged children across Yorkshire, addressing immediate needs and also delivering intervention-led projects.&nbsp;
