<p>Kick off the weekend by heading to Yorkshire’s food capital Malton for the food fest of the North. Expect top chefs from Masterchef and TGBBO for cooking demos as well as all stalls selling all the best local produce, street food, live music, and more. <p>The stunning Penistone Hill Country Park is turning into an open-air gallery for Wild Uplands over the coming months, and the long weekend is the perfect chance to catch the scenes in all its glory. Set amongst the stunning moors above Haworth, this exhibition will include sculptures, installations by international artists, and a sound walk in collaboration with Opera North &#8211; all of which give a nod to the natural beauty of Penistone Hill. <p>This Saturday will kick off Swaledale Festival 2025, an annual festival celebrating music and arts in and around the northern Yorkshire Dales. If variety is the spice of life, consider this event a flavour explosion guaranteed to keep you entertained for hours on end. Classical, folk and jazz musicians will be performing in a selection of venues (think small village churches right through to large heritage sites) for an intimate yet vibrant experience.
