Based on&nbsp;C.S. Lewis’s beloved classic, this enchanting production will whisk you off to Narnia, where you’ll join Lucy, Edmund, Susan, and Peter as they take on the ultimate baddie &#8211; the White Witch &#8211; while chilling with the legendary Aslan, the lion with better leadership skills than any boss you&#8217;ve had. With jaw-dropping sets and a timeless tale of adventure, this panto is guaranteed to transport families into a world where even wardrobes have plot twists.

Over at&nbsp;Wakefield’s Theatre Royal,&nbsp;Cinderella&nbsp;is back trying to find her glass slipper, and wrestle with her wicked stepmother. No Z-list celebs here, it&#8217;s a strictly local affair and no doubt the better for it. Tickets from £15.

CBeebies&nbsp;and&nbsp;CBBC&nbsp;star&nbsp;Evie Pickerill&nbsp;stars in York Theatre Royal&#8217;s Aladdin, along with a strong returning local cast of Robin Simpson&nbsp;(Dame Trott in&nbsp;Jack and the Beanstalk, Mrs Smee in&nbsp;All New Adventures of Peter Pan), Paul Hawkyard back as the villain for the third yaer, and Sario Soloman (Let it Shine, Grease) as the hero. Great to see access performances for Demenetia (Tues 17 Dec), Audio Described (Sat 28 Dec), Captioned (Sun 29), Sign Language (Mon 30 Dec) and Relaxed Performance (Fri 3 Jan).

Christmas isn’t complete without a dose of Buddy the Elf’s pure, childlike enthusiasm (we’re talking&nbsp;syrup-on-everything&nbsp;levels here). Get your festive season off to a jolly start with&nbsp;Elf: The Musical&nbsp;at&nbsp;Cast Theatre in&nbsp;Doncaster. Based on the 2003&nbsp;Will Ferrell&nbsp;film that’s now a Christmas essential, this stage version is bound to be packed with charm and one-liners. As predictable and comforting as your Christmas jumper.

This&nbsp;Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto&nbsp;version of&nbsp;Jack and the Beanstalk&nbsp;smashes together live rock music with classic panto chaos in a way that’ll have you shouting “Fee-fi-fo-fum&#8230; is that a guitar solo?!” With the loud music, smoke, loud bangs and apparently some squirting of water guns, it&#8217;s not encouraged for under fours. Almost certain that big kids will love it though.

Harrogate Theatre&nbsp;is going all out this Christmas with its bedazzling, glitter-loaded production of&nbsp;Beauty and the Beast and with over seven weeks of performances it&#8217;s clearly confident of its popularity! No celebs in this one, but Harrogate Theatre is a Victorian gem over five floors with a strong community reputation and well worth the punt.

This one looks fun. Sheffield’s&nbsp;Lyceum Theatre&nbsp;has roped in some TV names with its new production of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.sheffieldtheatres.co.uk/events/snow-white-panto-2024" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Snow White</a> with&nbsp;Catherine Tyldesley(Strictly Come Dancing, Coronation Street)&nbsp;as the Wicked Queen and&nbsp;Gladiator&#8217;s&nbsp;Viper along with regular local &#8216;Dame&#8217; Damian Williams. The promo video looks promising, but we&#8217;ll report back for sure once we&#8217;ve been there, done that.

Yeadon Town Hall is back for its&nbsp;86th&nbsp;year of panto magic. Kicking off in January (controversial!), this year’s show is the classic&nbsp;Jack and the Beanstalk with performances raising money for Yeadon Charities Association.

The Alhambra Theatre in Bradford is putting on a new version of&nbsp;Pinocchio with a strong cast that appeals to multi-generational audiences. There&#8217;s veteran Eighties comedian Billy Pearce as Geppetto the toymaker, current Coronation Street&#8217;s baddie Chris Gascoyne as the evil Stromboli and, for a sprinkle of sass and sparkle,&nbsp;drag artist Courtney Act becomes the Blue Faerie. Sounds fab, and that&#8217;s no lie.
