<p>A much-loved Dubai dining star has finally made its UK debut and lucky Leeds gets the very first taste. <strong><a href="https://indiabistro.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">India Bistro</a></strong>, a hot favourite across the UAE and India, has landed in Chapel Allerton, dazzling locals with authentic Indian flavours, bold-as-you-like cocktails, and a modern twist that keeps things fresh and fun. Expect a relaxed-but-refined vibe that wraps you up in all the warmth and richness of Indian hospitality. The menu takes you on a whistle-stop tour from the buzzing streets of Delhi and Punjab to the regal kitchens of Awadh, serving up iconic regional dishes crafted by seriously talented chefs using the freshest ingredients. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-diamonds-are-a-girl-s-best-friend"><strong>Diamonds are a girl’s best friend</strong></h2>



<p>Gorgeous jewellery designer <strong><a href="https://www.dinnyhall.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dinny Hall</a></strong> has officially brought her jewel-box concept to Leeds &#8211;&nbsp;<em>hurrah!</em>&nbsp;Expect beautiful demi-fine pieces and show-stopping gems, all dreamed up by the fabulous founder herself (who, by the way, has Leeds roots &#8211; as if we needed another reason to adore her). It’s the kind of boutique you wander into “just to browse” and wander out of sparkling like a magpie’s dream. Find this little slice of jewellery heaven in one of our absolute fave shopping spots, Victoria Leeds, tucked perfectly into the iconic County Arcade.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-brunch-club"><strong>Brunch club </strong></h2>

<p>The much-loved indie café&nbsp;<strong><a href="https://houseofkoko.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">House of Koko</a></strong>&nbsp;is spreading its wings and fluttering into Leeds city centre this autumn with its&nbsp;third&nbsp;gorgeous venue &#8211; cue caffeine-fuelled excitement! A firm favourite since 2015, House of Koko has long been one of Leeds’ coolest café hangouts, loved for its Middle Eastern–inspired menus, exceptional coffee (the kind you’d happily write sonnets about) and beautifully curated, design-led spaces. This new opening is the brand’s biggest investment yet &#8211; and trust us, it shows. Landing on Central Road, the city-centre outpost promises all the delicious flavours, cosy vibes and community spirit that made Koko a local icon, now in a fresh new home just ideal for brunch dates and latté lingerings.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-mad-for-mexican">Mad for Mexican </h2>



<p>The North’s favourite Mexican hotspot is officially shimmying its way into Leeds and we’re <em>very</em> here for it. Madre is bringing the full spirit of Mexico City to town with not one but two fabulous new venues. First up, <strong><a href="https://www.thisismadre.co.uk/madre-salon" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Salon Madre</a></strong> will open its doors early next year, ready to tempt us with a lively tequila bar, moreish tacos, and a pool hall vibe that’s just asking for late-night mischief. Then, just around the corner, the main event &#8211; <strong><a href="https://www.thisismadre.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Madre</a></strong>, a vibrant day-to-night restaurant bursting with colour, flavour and all the Mexican magic will launch shortly after. Leeds, get ready… things are about to get a whole lot spicier.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-cult-coffee"><strong>Cult coffee</strong></h2>



<p>Prepare yourself, Leeds, as you have not just one, but two cult coffee icons coming to the city centre. First up is <strong><a href="https://www.blankstreet.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Blank Street Coffee</a></strong> have just opened their biggest store yet right here in Yorkshire! The much loved brand is a go-to for expertly crafted coffee, tasty bites, and cool, laid-back vibes has taken things up a notch, making it the ultimate spot to sip, work, and linger.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On <strong>15 Dec</strong>, <strong><a href="https://federalcafe.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Federal</a></strong> will be crossing the Penines, to Leeds and giving away 1,000 <strong>free coffees</strong> from 8am on<strong> 20 &amp; 21 Dec</strong>. Yup, you read that right. Born in Manchester in 2014 and inspired by Aussie and Kiwi neighbourhood cafés, Federal has earned an impressive reputation for top-tier coffee, standout brunch dishes, and its famously warm vibe, not to mention its viral canned iced Matcha (IYKYK). The new 1,500 sq ft venue on Boar Lane will seat 70 and promises the same relaxed charm, with an all-day brunch menu. We can’t wait!</p>
