<p>Three Yorkshire faves have just cleaned up in the most recent AA Hospitality Awards 2025. Fine dining restaurant in York, <a href="https://meltonsrestaurant.co.uk/"><strong>Melton’s</strong></a>, was awarded three AA Rosettes thanks to its cosy, neighbourhood feel, knowledgeable staff and high quality cooking. Over in Goathland, family-run <a href="https://thehomesteadgoathland.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>The Homestead Kitchen</strong></a> is a hidden gem and well worth a drive out to the Yorkshire Wolds. With seasonal dishes from the family’s own kitchen garden, it’s no surprise it came away with three AA Rosettes. And last, but certainly not least, <a href="https://middletonlodge.co.uk/eat/forge/"><strong>Forge</strong></a> at the gorgeous Middleton Lodge only went and bagged four, yes four, AA Rosettes. Opened less than two years ago, it’s been making waves in the culinary scene with its six or ten-course tasting menus. </p>

<p>Brunch lovers, rejoice! The UK’s cult favourite brunch spot <a href="https://federalcafe.co.uk/pages/leeds-boar-lane?srsltid=AfmBOooBlp2U4XrA9y-MeYhZX-JZ1GQkJYtvki_oXS7Wunz5iWwemVeX" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Federal</strong></a> is crossing the Pennines to open its first Yorkshire café in Leeds this autumn. Born in Manchester in 2014 and inspired by Aussie and Kiwi neighbourhood cafés, Federal has earned an impressive reputation for top-tier coffee, standout brunch dishes, and its famously warm vibe, not to mention its viral canned iced Matcha (IYKYK). The new 1,500 sq ft venue on Boar Lane will seat 70 and promises the same relaxed charm, with an all-day brunch menu featuring favourites like French toast, steak and eggs, halloumi and shrooms, plus wine, cocktails and more.
